A men's haircut in Bellevue at Presidential Fades is $50 and takes about 45 minutes, consultation included. We are on 128th Pl NE, open seven days a week, and we take walk-ins.

What the $50 cut includes

Every adult haircut starts with a consultation, because the fastest way to get a cut wrong is to guess. From there it is a precision cut, the fade or taper you asked for, a neck cleanup, and styling before you leave the chair. Skin fade, mid fade, low fade, or a classic scissor taper are all the same price. There is no upcharge for a more technical fade.

Pick your barber, or take whoever is open

Three barbers work the floor: Julio, who owns the shop, Sergio, and Antoine. You can ask for a specific barber when you call, or take the first chair that opens. If you are coming in for the first time and have no preference, say so and we will put you with whoever has the shortest wait.

Bring a photo

A photo is worth more than a description. Guard numbers mean different things on different hair types, and "short on the sides" covers a lot of ground. If you do not have a reference, tell us how you want it to look in three weeks and we will cut it so it grows out that way rather than falling apart after a fortnight.

If you do not know the terminology

You do not need it, but it helps. A skin fade takes the sides down to bare skin at the lowest point. A mid fade starts that taper around the temple. A low fade keeps the blend down near the ear, so it reads more conservative and grows out slower. A classic taper is scissor work rather than a shaved gradient and is the safest choice if you are unsure. Say which of those four sounds closest and we will refine it at the consultation.

Add-ons

A hair wash is $10 and adds about 10 minutes. A hair design is $10 and adds about 15 minutes. If you want a beard handled at the same visit, the haircut and beard package is $65 for the pair rather than $85 booked separately.
